X: so what would you do if your friend started liking a guy you liked?
Y: do i love her? Does she have a piece?
X: yeah..
Y: i'd let her have him.
X: why?
Y: because i can survive alone.

X: ** expression of disbelief

X: What if she just uses him and dumps him?
Y: thats their lot in life then.
X: but why would u do that to him?
Y: the assumption is that i dont know how he feels about me. So it wont matter.

X: why ru so sacrificial?
Y: *smiles. Its not sacrifice. Its self preservation. Its lower risk to let her have him.

X: what if u liked me? Would u let me go? Sacrifice?
Y:*smiles wider... u dont belong to anyone. So technically it cant be a sacrifice. You can only sacrifice what you own... no one owns you.

X: humph..
