You think she's predictable.. that you know her.. that you can control her through her guilt. You think she's immature... socially inept.. that she doesnt see the true nature of people.. that she trusts too easily. You think she doesnt have any friends.. none that are tried and tested and true... she makes friends of strangers on the street and airplanes and trains.. you cant see how thats real. You think she's weak. You keep trying to chip away at her armour looking for weak spots where it can hurt... where the knife can be twisted for maximum impact. You gave up on her a long time ago.
You thought she could be broken. You're wrong.
She was made to conquer mountains. Brave, strong, fierce.
She was made to nurture and protect. Soft, gentle, caring.
Shes anything but predictable.. akin to a force of nature, she swings between the polar extremes of human existence... you'll never know how far she can go and for how long.. she wont be controlled by anything but her own truth.
She believes in trust.. in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.. of looking actively for the good.. the light.. but she has the strength to walk away when her trust is broken.
She doesnt test her friends. She simply gives until she runs out of giving. She learnt very early on that having no expectations was the wisest thing to do. But she is clear on the equation. Quid pro quo. If she doesnt feel valued in return, she moves on.
She feels her soul connect to strangers and embraces the connection with wonder.. not fear.. there is no place for fear in life. She believes with all her heart that the Almighty has a plan.. that there is always a celestial reason for every word that is spoken to her and for every person that crosses her path.. she looks for the deeper meaning in all her interactions. Regular humans cant see beyond the physical, material manifestation of life.. she cant stop seeing the spiritual realm in everything around her. And when she sees light buried deep within her loved ones souls.. she wants to release it for the betterment of the world.
